There could be a new N.E.R.D. album on the way

N.E.R.D.‘s Shay Haley hinted at new material from the group at last night’s iTunes festival in London.

Performing as part of Pharrell‘s set, Haley joined the ‘Happy’ singer for ‘Rockstar’, ‘Lapdance’ and ‘She Wants to Move’, before teasing a new N.E.R.D. record.

It feels good to be back in London”, Haley claimed. “When we released our first album back in 2001 and first crossed the Atlantic, this was the first place to embrace us. You’re gonna like this shit we’re gonna release…”

Pharrell replied “There will always be an NERD … I’m happy to be a nerd; the bullies lost, the nerds win”.
