Skepta waz not here.

Ahead of the release of his new album Konnichiwa on May 6th, Skepta has released an official video for album track ‘Man’.

The lo-fi video slices together footage from live shows, grime’s early days, life on the road, and confrontations on the streets of London with Skepta stickers a recurring visual element.

Skepta’s last video, for the breakthrough single ‘Shutdown’, was nominated for an Ivor Novello award which seeks to “recognise the songwriters and composers, along with their UK music publisher.” The award ceremony takes place a few weeks after the release of the album on May 19.

The grime MC has been building his fan base in the US and Canada over the past year by collaborating with Drake and Pharrell Williams.
