Jamie Hewlett – the artist behind Tank Girl, Gorillaz and Monkey: Journey to the West – will have a series of watercolours exhibited at the Dray Walk Gallery, London E1, from tomorrow.

The paintings are from a trip the acclaimed UK artist took to Bangladesh with Oxfam, to “see for himself how climate change is already costing lives”, and“the experience inspired a sensitive, thought-provoking series ofwatercolours available to buy here in aid of [Oxfam’s] River BasinProgramme, which works in Bangladesh and Nepal.” The project’s intention is to encourage people to march at The Wave, a demonstration in London and Glasgow ahead of the UN climate summit in Copenhagen.

Limited edition prints are available topurchase now from Oxfam; you can see previews over the page.

You can still buy the absurdly lush Monkey: Journey to the West box-set from the Vinyl Factory; it comes with amazing etched vinyl, exclusive Hewlett prints, and you’d be a fool to miss out.
