Former Genie in a Bottle Christina Aguilera has announced a new album, due for a June release.

No tracklist yet, but intriguing – though not quite as intriguing as a psychic stewardess releasing on Strange Life, obviously – is the list of guest features, which includes Tricky Stewart, Polow da Don, Le Tigre and Ladytron.

We don’t know exactly what roles these guests play on the album, except for Polow, who produces lead single ‘Not Myself Tonight’, a “fiercely energetic anthem”, according to the Comic Sans – that’s right, Comic Sans – press release. Polow has produced for Eve, T.I., Ciara and more in his time, but FACT fans might know him best for the man behind Rich Boy’s 2007 hit ‘Throw Some Ds’.

Tricky Stewart is the frequent production partner of The-Dream, while Le Tigre and Ladytron probably require no introduction.

Also on the album are Sia, Hill & Switch and Linda Perry, who penned and produced a ballad titled ‘Lift Me Up’. It will be Christina’s fourth album, and sees her exploring and creating “a fresh, sexy feel using both electronic and organic elements with subject matter ranging from playful to introspective. I am so excited for my fans to hear the new sound. It is something I don’t think anyone will expect.”

Bionic will be released on June 7. ‘Not Here Tonight’ will be premiered on ChristinaAguilera.com at 10pm tonight. Not in Comic Sans, we presume.
