Brighton post-rock types Junkboy release a new album via Enraptured Records on May 31, entitled Koyo.

Today’s Daily Download, ‘Tones X’, is taken from that LP, and finds the band in ripping form, delivering something akin to “psychedelic kosmische instrumental surfsploitation muzak” (their words).

We haven’t heard the whole record yet, but if it’s anything like their last one, Three, then it will be a masterful journey through vintage shop pop, foamy post-rock and more, and most importantly, it will be really, really good.
