Top Parisian synthsman Debruit remixes sometime Hot Chip member Grovesnor on today’s Daily Download.

Grovesnor, who has a solo album due out next month titled Soft Return, fancies himself as “looking like a teacher but sings like Usher”. Soft Return was produced with the assistance of The Chip’s Felix Martin and Al Doyle, and will be released on May 3. You’ll still probably know him best for ‘Drive my Car’, once a cult hit in certain corners of the FACT office.

The Grovesman’s automobile fascination continues here, on a track called ‘Taxi’. French hip-hop dude Debruit, who we’ve been bubbling to for a while now, takes remix duties with aplomb. Did we just say The Grovesman? Guess so.
