Soundcrash have summoned the almighty DOOM for a major gig at Village Underground on November 2.

If you’ve spent more than five minutes on this site, you’ll have encountered Daniel “DOOM” Dumile, aka MF DOOM, aka Viktor Vaughn, aka Zed Luv X. He’s released numerous stone-cold classic hip-hop albums on his tod, ranging from the seminal Operation Doomsday through to his Special Herbs instrumental compilation series. His Madvillainy project with Madlib is arguably the hip-hop record of the Noughties, and collabs with JJ DOOM and Dangermouse have been pretty nifty too.

After sell-out appearances at The Roundhouse and The Forum, DOOM is stopping by Village Underground for a banner solo show. Support comes from Scratch Perverts’ Mr Thing, UK rap veteran Rodney P, Kutmah, Kidkanevil, Thunderbird Gerard and Lazy Habits.

Tickets and further information are available here.
