No “Public Enemy” puns: this one sounds serious.

According to TMZ, Public Enemy hype man Flavor Flav was arrested in Las Vegas after allegedly assaulting someone in his house with a deadly weapon.

The 53-year-old, real name William Drayton Jr., allegedly threatened one person with a knife and battered the other while arguing with his fiancee and a teenager. However, it’s unclear which person he threatened, which he physically attacked, and whether or not the teenager is related to him.

He was arrested around 3 am and booked on felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence (battery) chargers, and he’s currently being held on $23,000 bail. His mugshot is below, via TMZ. Flav has a long history of drug abuse and legal issues, neither of which make this any less unfortunate.
