D'Angelo's Voodoo to be reissued on vinyl for first time

The classic album from the reclusive R&B star will be reissued in Decemeber.

D’Angelo’s 2000 sophomore album Voodoo, an R&B classic by any measure, will be reissued by Light in the Attic’s Modern Classics on December 11. This first vinyl reissue includes more artwork, additional liner notes featuring interviews with ?uestlove, Alan Leeds, and more. The limited-edition pressing will be on 180g wax.

This year, D’Angelo returned after nearly a decade out of the spotlight to tour with Mary J. Blige. While ?uestlove says D’s next album is a “radical 180° turn” for the singer-songwriter, the album remains unannounced. His revelatory GQ interview from May is a must-read, if you haven’t yet. Watch a performance of his legendary ‘Untitled (How Does It Feel)’ below.
