Brainfeeder affiliates Gonjasufi and Ras G go head-to-head on a new 7″. 

In honour of their seventh birthday, well-respected LA label/club/screenprinting guild HIT + RUN have launched a seven-part 7″ vinyl series called, er, 777 . As per previous releases from the likes of Teebs and The Gaslamp Killer, the emphasis will be on oddball, West Coast-facing beat music.

The first instalment in the series will see FlyLo muse Gonjasufi looking after the A-side, with cosmic beatmaker Ras G on the flip. Gonjasufi – last heard on Warp’s frowzy MU.ZZ.LE EP – contributes unheard tracks ‘Fish Bite’ and ‘The Synagogue’. Ras G, meanwhile, offers up ‘Beta Israel’, ‘Dall…Garlic Naan’ and ‘Dealing Wit Urflings’ on the flip. The five-track EP will arrive on coloured vinyl with a special silkscreened sleeve, and will be limited to 300 copies.
