Robbie Cooper is the drummer of Scottish post-rockers Laeto and one of the drummers for LuckyMe group American Men, and at 34 years old he has contracted a very rare form of cancer.

While he’s keeping strikingly upbeat about the situation, even trying his hand at some stand-up comedy, there’s only so much that the National Health Service are going to be able to provide for him, and that’s where fans can come in.

A fund has been set up to collect money that will help Robbie and his wife Miriam pay for the enormous shift in lifestyle and the costs around the drummer’s cancer treatment, and for any Laeto fans the band is putting together a rarities compilation to help things further.
