Juicy J sets Stay Trippy release date, details collaborations

The former Three Six Mafia man readies his third solo album.

Straight from the horse’s mouth: Stay Trippy is due out July 2. In an interview with Fly Times Daily, Juicy says the album will feature The Weeknd, Young Jeezy, Big Sean, Chris Brown, Taylor Gang compatriot Wiz Khalifa, and older brother Project Pat. The feature list suggests that advance singles ‘Show Out’, ‘In The Stars’, and ‘One of Those Nights’ will be included; smash hit anthem ‘Bandz A Make Her Dance’ is a gimme, as well. In an interview last week, Khalifa said that Justin Timberlake will also appear on the album.

Watch the brief interview below, as Juicy J weighs in on everything from the new album to the Boston bombings (seriously). Mr. Trippy Mane was featured in our guide to hip-hop in 2013, and the FACT Singles Club weighed in on his latest effort.
