Last week, Flying Lotus dropped ‘S.D.S’, a new collaborative track with Pittsburgh chart-topper Mac Miller.

We described the beat as “on a ‘Robo Tussin’ tip, all soupy organs and gleaming surfaces”, and now said surfaces can be enjoyed without Miller’s interference. Click below to stream the instrumental version.

Flying Lotus has figured heavily around these parts over the last seven days, revealing he’s at work on a “jazz” album and a new tape from rapping alias Captain Murphy, complete with beats from Madlib and Hudson Mohawke. He’s also scored a new short by collaborator Kahlil Joseph, and contributed to the soundtrack for a new independent film, the Jay-Z produced An Oversimplification Of Her Beauty.
