Comedian Jay Pharoah took on Lil Wayne on the Sway in the Morning show today, and the results were spectacular.

It’s no secret that Lil Wayne’s sleepwalked through 70% of the music he’s put out in the last few years, but he’s recently developed a nasty habit of bringing down his good verses with some truly awful lines. ‘Good Kush and Alcohol’ featured “these hoes got pussies like craters”, ‘Kelly Rowland’s Wayne-featuring ‘Ice’ had “I beat that cat / animal cruelty” and “If you are what you eat, I’m so pussy” – you get the point. What’s great about Pharoah’s freestyle is that you could take the individual lines out, jumble them up with some of Wayne’s lowlights from the last few years, and you’d definitely struggle to pick what’s what.

Oh, and he really nails the Wayne “a-HUMM”.
