The Lebanese producer’s first release for the London label has quietly slipped out.

Dismantle is split over two vinyls, with the hushed, rattling title track and the cleverly slow-building ‘Tamrat Version’ on the first.

The second vinyl comprises a trio of lengthy, increasingly frazzled tracks under the title ‘Music for Vampyr’, which are intended as an accompaniment to the 1932 horror film directed by Carl Theodor Dreyer.

Morphosis, otherwise known as Rabih Beaini, put together a gritty FACT mix for us in 2011 featuring Jeff Mills, Traversable Wormhole, Marcel Dettmann and more. Last year his Upperground Orchestra project reinterpreted Theo Parrish’s 2005 gem ‘Falling Up’ on an EP of remixes of tracks from the Third Ear catalogue.

Head to Honest Jon’s to hear and buy Dismantle.
