The event aims to help pay off the LA beatsmith’s medical bills following a near-fatal accident.

In July, The Gaslamp Killer detailed the freak scooter accident that could have left him dead within three hours due to internal bleeding. While he will no longer be able to drink or do drugs, it left him with a positive outlook: “I feel like I was given this opportunity to slow the fuck down again, and get inside my own head, and really try and create some dope music instead of fucking burning my brains out.”

On November 7, he’ll be joined by his friends and favorite bands for a benefit show at LA’s Mayan Theatre. Along with a lineup of surprise “very special guests,” the event will also unveil “The Gaslamp Killer Experience.”

Admission is free with a donation, which will help him eliminate his medical bills. Tickets will be first-come, first-serve, but entry can be guaranteed by donating $50 for a special gift pack. For more information, head to the website of promoter ArtDontSleep.
