Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh are still probably best known for their flawless tenure as part of Human League (in the Reproduction era no less), and while the duo went on to form Heaven 17, they were busy in the interim too.

Ware and Marsh formed British Electric Foundation (aka B.E.F.) in 1980, and recorded two highly sought after cassettes: Music for Stowaways and Music for Listening To. Seattle’s Medical Records have managed to snap up both of these albums and one rare bonus track and have bundled them up as Music For Turntables, which unsurprisingly will be released on lavish 180g vinyl.

All of the tracks have been remastered from the original Virgin Records master tapes, and the album should be hitting the shelves in January 2014. [via The Stranger]
