One of Snoop Dogg and Dam-Funk‘s “babies from the mothership” has got a dewy-eyed new video in its honour. The forthcoming 7 Days of Funk album will see Snoop team up with the one-time G-funk session keyboardist for a set of Troutman-indebted funk. Interestingly, it’s the first Snoop Dogg album since 1993 debut Doggystyle where the rapper has worked with a single producer across an entire record. Harry DeMaio’s video sees the coiffured “Snoopzilla” performing alongside Dam-Funk at a L.A. party. Verdict? Snoopzilla > Snoop Lion.
