Brian Simon hones his craft on his second album.

Simon’s musical journey has taken him from an internship at LA stronghold Alpha Pup Records to stints at UCLA and the Red Bull Music Academy to founding his own Alpha Pup imprint, Non Projects. Recording as Anenon, he meshes beat-focused electronica with his free jazz-inflected saxophone playing to craft gorgeous tapestries of sound.

Sagrada sees Simon incorporate the practices of his “increasingly free form” live shows into his studio work, building lush compositions over beats that hint at everything from IDM and ambient to house and techno.

The visual art-inspired work begs to be listened to in full, which you can do below. Sagrada is due out on September 23 via Non Projects.
