The second episode of the new series heads North.

Channel 4 and Dazed‘s Music Nation series travelled to Sheffield last night to explore, as the producers aptly put it, “the 00s dance music that ignited a youthquake across the ex-industrial towns of Britain”. Directed by David Graham, It’s Bass Up North charts the glory years of bassline and the rise and fall of Sheffield’s bassline house / Niche sound.
