One EP will be dedicated to modern R&B, another explores the star’s “songwriter side.”

While some may have hoped the subtitle to last year’s EP Royalty: The Prequel implied a new LP, it looks like Terius Nash aka The-Dream will deliver a pair of EPs in quick succession this spring. The first, Crown, out March 31st, continues his brand of modern R&B. The soon to follow (and potentially more exciting) Jewel on the other hand will feature the kind of songs Nash would typically write for other artists.

“If you put me in a box, Jewel is more what you get when that box is open. But I’m not limited by any box I’ve been put in — every year I’m expanding and growing, and it makes for a more interesting plot,” he recently told Vibe.

No release date on that one, but in the meantime watch the new lyric video for the T.I. featuring single “That’s My Shit” which is expected to appear on Crown.
