Motor City trailblazer Carl Craig sat down with Bloc to discuss the key influences on his storied career.

In the ten minute video, the Planet E boss recalls the individuals who had the most significant impact on his work. Motor City radio legend The Electrifying Mojo, Prince, Kraftwerk, Juan Atkins and The Wizard (better known today as Jeff Mills) all get a mention.

Craig also discussed the ways in which the city of Detroit influenced his output, as well as recalling the first time he ever saw a synthesizer on the cover of Wendy Carlos’ Switched On Bach LP.
