The NME Award winner opens his latest video with a testimonial from The Wire actor.

No doubt still basking in the glory of last night’s bizarre win, Dean Blunt has premiered a video for ‘100’, one of the more melodic cuts from his recent album Black Metal.

The clip opens with chunk of text taken from a Noisey interview with actor Idris Elba, who reckoned Blunt’s recent single ‘Mersh’ was “a bit too experimental for my tastes”.

“I could make a whole album like this on my iPad,” he added. The rest of the vid sees Blunt being driven around the city in a Bentley (The Guardian thinks it’s in The Bronx, but the car has a UK registration number and they seem to be driving on the left).
