Since its first release in 2001 Ableton Live has become an industry standard, especially for those seeking to take their music from the studio to the stage.

Following the recent public beta of Live 9.2, the company has unveiled a short documentary on the developers behind the software. The 15-minute movie peers behind the scenes at Ableton’s Berlin HQ with interviews and insights from the various members of the development team.

While a little heavy on tech speak, the documentary provides a fascinating insight into how the sofware company overcame challenges in its code and implemented a better way of working that in turn leads to better software.
