Switched-On Bach by one half of Goldfrapp.

The Will Gregory Moog Ensemble is an electronic ensemble that was originally formed to perform arrangements from Wendy Carlos’ album Switched-On Bach. Carlos’ 1968 LP played a central role in popularising the performance of classical music on electronic synthesizers.

The ten-person Moog ensemble is fronted by Will Gregory, member of British electronic duo Goldfrapp. In the video below, the group perform Bach’s ‘Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G major, BWV 1048’.

Synth nerds should also check these intricate hand-drawn Moog schematics that surfaced earlier this week. [via Synthtopia]
