The recent advent of the Apple Watch has resulted in many users beginning to test the different capabilities of their new device. Music making isn’t likely to be one of the most popular uses of the high-tech wristwatch, but nevertheless a few clever users have worked out how to control Ableton Live using an Apple Watch.

This video, via Ableton Live Expert, shows how you can control Ableton Live with an Apple Watch by using the Watch Band MIDI controller. The video’s creators note, “It’s flaky, laggy, and borderline pointless, but it’s fun!”
