Beat Junkies bawse J. Rocc has created a swish megamix of Pete Rock’s new album.

Petestrumentals 2, last month’s follow-up to the legendary hip-hop producer’s 2001 instrumentals compilation, is a 20-track collection meant to “conjure memories of BBQ cookouts and Seventies Blaxploitation scores”, with a nod to J Dilla on tribute track ‘Dilla Bounce (RIP)’.

J. Rocc sprinkles a few classic Pete Rock samples and some audio from James Brown’s hypeman Danny Ray into his megamix, which premiered on Rolling Stone earlier.
