Update, July 30: The album is a “masterpiece”, says Chance.

In an interview with Wild 94.1’s Bootleg Kev, the Chicago MC confirmed the existence of his Lil B collaboration and said it’s “a full-fledged album.”

He explained: “I’ll say it on your show first. It’s the truth. It’s all done. And it’s a masterpiece. I’ll tell you it’s a full-fledged album. I can’t tell you how many tracks are on it. I can’t tell you how many bars we go back and forth. I can’t tell you about the monologues. I can’t tell you about the features. It’s a classic.” [via HipHopDX]

Based acid rap.

Chance the Rapper and Lil B were both in Chicago this week, and the two used the opportunity to hit the studio. “Just knocked out a based freestyle album with chance the rapper in chi town!!” Lil B writes on Tumblr; Chance shared a similar message on Instagram.

There are no details about the possible album, but it would cap off a busy year for both rappers. Along with Surf, Chance has signed up for a film and got his own beer, while Lil B has focused on non-musical pursuits like lectures and apps.
