Students at Cleveland State University were captured on film yesterday chanting Kendrick Lamar’s TPAB anthem ‘Alright’ in protest at police harassment.

The activists had been attending a Black Lives Matter event at the university when police arrested an allegedly intoxicated 14-year-old.

One of the conference attendees told ABC News 5 Cleveland that people locked arms and blocked the street near the police cruiser while chanting the song’s chorus. Police said the officer resorted to pepper spray when the crowd wouldn’t allow a cruiser with a suspect in the back seat leave the scene.

The video’s uploader wrote: “While everyone was demanding his release an officer pepper sprayed the crowd and further escalated the situation. In unity and solidarity everyone was demanding that he be released, and we stayed and protested until they released him!”
