It suggests music execs also hate rap, and love Taylor Swift.
Billboard has just published what is says is an inaugural survey of “A-list music-business professionals” quizzing them on the big issues in popular music, and while it’s good news for Taylor Swift, it doesn’t look great for Tidal.
Of the executives polled, 71% thought Jay-Z’s streaming service was going to fail in the next year, and 17% thought it had one to two years of life in it. Only 12% thought it had a fighting chance.
The survey also picked Taylor Swift as the artist they’d sign if they were starting a label today, and picked rap as the genre they despised the most. Check out the results below. [via Music Ally]
