The mind behind some of our favorite dub techno tracks of all time is back with an enormous new album.

Rod Modell’s prolific work under the name Deepchord has brought about some of the best dub techno we’ve ever heard, now he has a new album on the way. Ultraviolet Music is a double-CD which runs over two-and-a-half hours.

In the announcement, the record is described as a hallucinogenic blend of 90s ambient, late night atmospherics, Detroit techno, deep house, and Berlin school. It follows last year’s Lanterns and is due November 27 via Soma.
