The studio mixer that gave birth to Basic Channel and more is up for auction.

Mortiz von Oswald is one of techno’s greatest innovators, and a clutch of records on our list of the 25 best dub techno tracks of all time were mixed on this very board.

Oswald’s Speck Electronics SSM-24 is currently on eBay through seller Nation-X, who has listed it on behalf of Oswald. It is currently going for €17,000 (or just under $20,000), though the price is negotiable. Check out the pictures of the mixer along with a statement from the seller below.

“We are selling the original and unique analog mixing console from Moritz von Oswald. A lot of legendary productions like Basic Channel, Maurizio, Rhythm & Sound, Recomposed and many many more were produced on this mixing console. The quality of all of these productions speaks for itself.”
