‘Some Things Last a Long Time’ appears in a “psychedelic film” about the veteran songwriter.

Lana Del Rey has recorded a song by Daniel Johnston for Gabriel Sunday’s new short film Hi, How Are You Daniel Johnston?.

Del Rey’s cover replaces the original piano backing of ‘Some Things Last a Long Time’ with guitars and drums, but definitely taps into the naive beauty of Johnston’s delivery.
