The Chicago outfit return after four years with a new album.

Alex Barnett, Seth Sher and Jeremiah Fisher understand tension and release perfectly in their work as Oakeater. On their new album, Aquarius, the trio move through mournful passages of dark ambience speckled with doomy drones and natural sounds like the unsettling scrapping soil on ‘Hatchet’. These moments build up to volcanic releases of tracks like ‘All is Sacred’ and the synth-beaten title track. It makes for a chilling labyrinth of an album, one where you never know what horror lurks around each corner.

Enter Aquarius below to hear for yourself and order it now via Sige Records before its November 13 release.
