The coming-of-age flick featuring a Daft Punk cameo has arrived on the BFI Player.

Mia Hansen-Løve’s 2014 film Eden, a loose history of the ‘French touch’ scene, is now available to stream online. Set during the heyday of filter house in 90s Paris, the film follows a fictional DJ (played by Félix de Givry) as he journeys from obscurity to global success. The main character is based on the director’s brother Sven Løve, whose clubnight Cheers helped forge the scene that created superstars like Daft Punk.

The cast includes Frances Ha star Greta Gerwig and cameos from real-life stars of the scene, including the robots themselves. The soundtrack alone is brilliant, of course.

Watch Eden on your desktop and on Android and iOS devices via the BFI Player for a bargain £4.50 (or £3.83 for members).
