Belgium Underground’s database covers the country’s artists, labels, venues and more.

If you’ve ever wanted to investigate Belgium’s rich culture of underground music but didn’t know where to start, there’s an app that will let you do just that.

Belgium Underground is available for iOS and Android, and lets you explore an interactive map of the country’s bands and producers linked by label and genre. It covers everything from the 90s rave classics of R&S to the Belgian wave of Linear Movement, and each artist has its own file with career history and music excerpts.

The app features a number of ways to browse the vast database, including a timeline mode to filter musical styles and a map that cover’s the Belgian scene’s geography, which covers notable clubs, concert halls and record shops.
