Renowned Brooklyn record store finds new home.
Since shuttering its DUMBO space last year, Brooklyn record store Halcyon has been searching for a new location while hosting a pop-up locale in South Williamsburg. The shop has now found a permanent place to set up on the north side of the neighborhood, nightclub Output. Not only will they sell 5000 titles, it will also feature a two-floor café, bar and event space.
Its 74 Wythe Ave address is right at the corner of N 12th Street, putting it in direct competition with the U.S.’s only Rough Trade outpost, only three blocks away on N 9th Street.
