It’s been a rollercoaster month for Hamburg’s beloved club.

At the beginning of the month it looked as if Golden Pudel would have to close its doors, then as things started to look up, a fire nearly burned the club down.

Following the fire, which has since been suspected by police as an arson attack, the club’s owners announced they would rebuild the club – and now it looks as if the Pudel will be up and running by next month.

As Resident Advisor point out, Club co-founder Rocko Schamoni recently told Hamburger Abendblatt that the Pudel will reopen in as little as two weeks now that repairs to the roof are finished and the building as been resealed. The club still has its original financial issues to deal with, although protesters have come together to hold demonstrations in support.
