Fresh from the success of his genius reimagining of the Akira soundtrack, Canadian producer Bwana is about to drop an EP for the clubs on Aus Music.

Following his recent move to Berlin, the new Opening The Gate EP is “a record indebted to hours clocked up behind the booth and on the floor of Panorama Bar,” the label explains, and it kicks off with A-side ‘Homeboy’, a strange, spiralling journey that flutters rather than pounds, with a hint of African house.

The rest of the EP is packed with plenty of diva vocals and dancefloor euphoria, and the three-tracker is out on April 15 from Aus Music.
