The soundtrack to your next training montage is here.
Though AE Paterra and Paul Lawler both lead busy careers drumming in Zombi and composing respectively, together they craft vintage prog epics under the name CONTACT. After laying the cinematic ground work on their debut EP, First Contact, they’re gearing up again for a debut album.
The group will release Zero Moment on June 3 through Temporary Residence, but today you can hear ‘Sensorium’ which brings to mind the vintage synthesizer pulse of Jean-Michel Jarre’s Oxygène and John Carpenter’s scores.
From the moment it kicks off, the track constantly tops itself with dramatic climaxes and muscular melodies. It’s an enormous amount of fun and should come in handy the next time you need to infiltrate a base full of bad guys.
Listen to ‘Sensorium’ below and grab Zero Moment via Temporary Residence.
