Music for spaceports.

Lee Bannon, who’s variously known as Dedekind Cut and ¬ b, has put together a giant ambient music playlist on Spotify in the run-up to this fall’s Dedekind Cut album $uccessor.

The Spotify playlist features classics from Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Global Communication and Steve Reich next to newer jams from Grouper, Susanna & Jenny Hval, Tim Hecker and Claude Speed. According to Bannon, the playlist will be “enhanced” in the weeks running up to the release of $uccessor.

Bannon has had a good year so far, dropping American Zen on Hospital Productions back in March and releasing the mind-melting Black History Month In 3D mix just before that. He also found time to collect up year’s of unreleased material on the excellent Reflections 2012-2016.

For now, lie back and listen to some of the best ambient music out there.
