Jenny Hval’s next full-length is a menstruation concept album rooted in black metal and goth pop. She’s self-described the album as exploring “the white and red toilet roll chain which ties together the virgins, the whores, the mothers, the witches, the dreamers, and the lovers.” (True.)

Following lead single ‘Female Vampire’, Hval has put out another album cut ‘Period Piece’ through Adult Swim’s freebie program, which has given us new work from Vince Staples, DJ Paypal and more.
