“You can still be cool and speak up about political issues. The kids don’t really know that.”

Metro Boomin will host the Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump concert at the Playstation Theater on November 4, four days before the presidential election. In an interview with Complex, Metro explained why he’s organized the show:

“I think it’s time to speak out, and not like speak out by getting extra political with this shit, but let people know… I don’t trust him, you don’t trust him and go ahead and celebrate that. And also, people love coming to concerts and coming together, though at the same time it’s not all about that, but sharing the message and the same view.”

All of the proceeds from the concert will go to a fund Metro has set up to send one high school student from the St. Louis area to HBCU Morehouse College in Atlanta, which is, as Complex points out, the same educational path Metro took.

Tickets for the show will be on sale Friday, September 23 at 10AM EST.
