Los Angeles rapper Murs will try to make the first world record for longest consecutive rap session as part of the season finale of the series Where You AT? LA.

Though there is technically no Guinness World Record for longest rap session (there is one for longest rap freestyle), Murs has explained previously that he will need to go for over 24 hours straight for the feat to be considered a world record. He is allowed to take a five minute break every hour and can stack those breaks to use later on (for example, he could rap four hours without a break and then take 20 minutes off).

In addition to watching the attempt in real time (Where You AT? LA is a live show), Murs is also sharing his training regime on Twitch.TV by rapping in four hour sessions. He also offered a glimpse into his training diet on Instagram.

Watch below and look for Murs’ big attempt on October 12.
