“I despise Donald Trump.”
Underground Resistance’s Eddie Fowlkes and John Collins are adamant about the importance of voting in next week’s US election. “I think that if you don’t vote, it’s a vote for Donald Trump,” Collins said in an interview with Channel 4. The Detroit techno legend supports Hillary Clinton but Collins says, “you can vote for anybody” as long as you do it.
Fowlkes, however, is worried about Clinton’s trade policies: “[If] I can’t ship my records to distributors in Europe, I have issues.”
Collins adds: “Detroit techno reflected then, still does, what was going on. It was futuristic, it was much that reflected discrimination.”
