Deadmau5 and Eats Everything also take up regular slots on the UK station next year.

BBC Radio 1 has announced the new artists joining its Residency slots in 2017.

Hamburg’s Helena Hauff is top of the list, cementing her reputation as one of the world’s best techno DJs with a regular show on the second Thursday of each month on the UK radio station.

She’s joined by Hyperdub artist Jessy Lanza, who released her second album Oh No earlier this year and will be appearing on the third Thursday of every month.

Joining Hauff and Lanza are EDM figurehead Deadmau5, UK house favorite Eats Everything and drum and bass act Metrik, who take up slots on the first and fourth Thursdays of the month respectively.

Other names on the Residency line-up include Logan Sama, Kölsch and Will Atkinson, who each continue with their established slots.

The new schedule starts on January 5, with slots at 10pm and midnight each week. The new DJs replace Heidi, George FitzGerald, Louisahhh, Oliver Heldens and Steve Angello.
