HEALTH have surprise released DISCO3, a remix album of their 2015 full-length Death Magic and they’re calling fans to announce it in a “reverse telethon” hosted by Pauly Shore.

Normally we get press releases for this kind of announcement, but I’m writing minutes after getting off the phone to them myself.

After seeing an unknown number while coming back from my lunch break, I answered what was a call from Shore and band member Benjamin Jared Miller broadcasting live on Funny Or Die’s Facebook page I answered to be live on with Shore and bandmember Benjamin Jared Miller.

They explained that DISCO3 is available to stream and purchase now and I told Shore his film Pauly Shore Is Dead was underrated. Never thought I’d scratch that one off the bucket list.

DISCO3 includes remixes by The Haxan Cloak, Roly Porter, Vessel, Purity Ring, Marcus Wale and the post-punk band Preoccupations. HEALTH have also included several original songs.
