Fire up that Frank Ocean album release anxiety again!

Frank Ocean had the internet in a tailspin for new material in 2016 (and 2015) before he released back-to-back albums Endless and Blonde. And while these should satiate for at least a year (give ’em a break, guys), his ‘White’ collaborator John Mayer says there is more new music in the works.

As Pitchfork points out, Mayer says on an Instagram Live broadcast that Ocean is working new material and it’s “space reggae”: “He played me this song the other day… I won’t say the title, that’s his business, but… He’s doing stuff right now that’s… talk about space reggae, future reggae, that’s Frank Ocean.”

That may remain a mystery for the time being, but we do know that Ocean has a collab with Calvin Harris and Migos coming soon and that is something.
