Coming this spring.

Gerald Donald’s Dopplereffekt project has announced Cellular Automata, their first full-length in ten years.

The nine-track LP “approaches mathematical growth and decay as an iterative process, with each data input considered individually relative to the overall model,” says the label Leisure System, who have been putting out EPs and splits for Dopplereffekt since 2013.

It’s another boon for Drexciya fans. Earlier this year, Donald’s late groupmate James Stinson’s album as The Other People Place, Lifestyles of the Laptop Café, was reissued earlier. FACT contributor Daniel Montesinos-Donaghy dug deep into legendary release – read more here.
