The rapper begins his tour next week.

Chance the Rapper is waging war on merchandise bootleggers by preemptively filing lawsuits, Pitchfork reports.

The lawsuit was filed by Chance and his touring company today in an Illinois district court against currently unnamed entities listed as “JOHN DOES 1-100, individuals, JANE DOES 1-100, individuals, and XYZ COMPANY”. The lawsuit gives the rapper a claim at “injunctive and monetary relief” against anyone who may bootleg merchandise.

Chance kicks off his tour next week in San Diego. Earlier this week, Chance was listed among Time’s 100 most influential people of 2017.
